I really like ZOTZ, they are a fun hard candy with a great taste and a fizzy/foamy suprise in the middle. Give them to unsuspecting people that just “want a piece of candy” and they will be coming back for more.
This is a nice large 2lb bag of sealed candy, the candy inside was fresh and not sticky or melted at all. The bag was easy to open but I wish it had a zip at the top to keep the contents inside after opening.
This is a perfect item for the candy bowl in my office. Something different than what people are expecting.

The hard shell of this candy is sweet, sour depending on the flavor. Once you reach the center, there is a very sour liquid that tingles your tongue. The candies come in a sealed bag that isn’t resealable, but it is not an issue as the candies are individually wrapped. Most of the candies take a while before you get to the center with the fizzy liquid but some of them may be a bit cracked and you taste the hardened liquid on the shell of the candy which isn’t a big concern for me but may be for other people.

Seven fruity flavors with a powdery center. I didn’t find the center to really be fizzy at all. It was more of a sour powder inside the candy shell. And because the center of the candy was hollow, as you sucked down the size of the candy part, you were eventually left with a very sharp edge which kind of did a number on my tongue. Maybe I should of stopped at a few pieces, but I wanted to sample all 7 flavors, which by the way did taste like you would expect. These will still make a great treat for Halloween

I’m not normally a hard candy eater. This candy may have changed that forever. I got it to share with the kids but so far I’ve eaten way more than my share.
The candies have two tiny holes at either end and they leak out the sour fizzy stuff gradually. It makes for fun and delicious snacking.
I think the grape ones are the best but love watermelon and apple a whole lot as well. My 80 year old mom has also gotten addicted to these so that tells you how delicious they are. She’s not normally a candy eater at all.
I would recommend against crunching down on the candies because it’ll release all the sour stuff at once and it will be quite a shock. A delicious one but still a lot of sour at one time!
I only wish I had gotten the 2 lb bag instead of the 1 lb.

Apparently, this candy has been around for decades. A friend of mine, whose parents emigrated from Italy, told me that he grew up with this candy in his home. The name came from a 1962 movie with the same name, whose plot followed a man mysteriously gaining magical powers from the god of an ancient civilization. This candy’s magic is the fizzy center. While the treats look seemingly innocent to an untrained eye, they hide a secret deep inside them. The candy has a hard fruity outer shell with a fizzy center. The fizz is supposed to be sour, but I found it not so much sour, as a “burns my throat” sensation, but in a good way. It’s a pretty awesome mouthfeel experience. When you get to the center, It whizzes, fizzes and bubbles up in seconds. It is quite similar to Pop Rocks. I gave one to my kids to try and they thought it was regular candy. After a few minutes, when they got to the center, I would hear the “Whoa”s and then see the surprise on their faces. Overall, all the flavors are very smooth in taste and texture and contain an ample amount of fizz. Much like Tootsie Roll Pops, it’s up to you whether you want to savor them or bite them in half for the immediate fizz gratification.

First, this is such a great value! These will definitely last my family a while. You get 1 pound of a good asssortment of fruity-flavored candy: strawberry, cherry, orange, watermelon, grape, blue raspberry, and apple. However, I really hope most of them aren’t like this but I didn’t taste any fizzy candy in the center in a few of the handful I tried. Those in question just felt hollow in the middle with nothing inside. So it was a hit and miss. For the others, I felt a fun popping sensation that only lasts for a few seconds. Since that’s happening for a small amount of candy, this bag will still be good to use for the upcoming holidays!

The sweet, hard candy shell gives way to a liquid center with a bit of sourness. The transition in taste and texture is delightful, especially when you reach the center and the candy fizzes in your mouth. Really liked this candy!

This is a nice bulk bag of enjoyable candy. There is a wide assortment of flavors, and each opens up in its own way with a sort of fizzy reaction in your mouth. Each piece is about 15 calories, and so you can have a bunch of these without too much of hit as far as calorie intake.

ZOTZ Original Hard Candy With Fizzy Center Candies are individually wrapped hard candies that have a great flavor to them and a fizzy center. When you chew it or if you suck on it long enough, the center is filled with either a liquid or powder that fizzes up. It’s a great candy that would double as a good trick to play on someone who wasn’t expecting it Haha!

I had never tried these but was intrigued by the fizzy center and these did not disappoint! The flavors were very good and when you got to the center, there was exactly what was described. Could be very unexpected to someone who doesn’t know what these are but I love them!
