No surprises or inconsistencies here, you get exactly 1 pound of individually wrapped vanilla flavored Charleston Chews. Even though this is a longtime American classic Taffy candy, this is admittedly my first time trying it! Each piece is soft, fresh, and chewy with a decently done vanilla flavor to it. Its not close to being gourmet but still tasty. These are all in good shape and ready to use straight from the bag! Partial nutritional info is on the back of the bag, so you need to manually look up complete information online for the rest of them plus full list of ingredients used.

I think this 1lb bag is a bit pricey for $13 but that’s just me. If you like candy in bulk this is a decent way to get that. These charleston chews are mini sized and are bagged in a nice sturdy resealable bag. They didn’t arrive damaged or melted. The bag also has the expiration date written on it. My bag has until 1/2025 which I should be able to have them gone by then.
The candies taste fresh and great! These are also great to share around with family, friend, and coworkers. And can also be put into gifts since the holidays are coming soon.
Horton Hears a Cthulhu –
I always liked Charleston Chew bars when I was a kid. I’d get the full-size ones, freeze them, then whack them on the kitchen counter (still in the wrapper) to break them into smaller bite-size segments. This bag is full of Charleston Chew bars already bite-sized and individually wrapped, so I am well pleased.
They taste fresh and have that nice vanilla flavor and very, very chewy texture that I love. I don’t know the logistics of this (how Charleston Chew bars end up in a bag labeled “Donty-Tonty”), I just know that they’re good, there’s a ton of them, and they’re all mine. Yum.

Charleston Chews are yummy. I’ve never had the vanilla before and they are excellent! The vanilla isn’t too overpowering and the chew is everything you hope for.
The resealable packaging is perfect for keeping them fresh and the minis are great for when you want a treat or for keeping out in a bowl for coworkers. (Who am I kidding, you’ll eat them all before they do)

I’ve been eating Charleston Chew candies for approximately 700 years give or take since they were first introduced in ancient Egypt. I’d say that makes me an expert on authenticating the bootleg Charleston Chew from the real ones. I feel quite confident, despite lacking any official certifications, that these are indeed legitimate modern time versions of the Charleston Chew, with emphasis on Vanilla Flavor.
One of the many reasons why I’ve been able to eat this form of sugar with enthusiasm is it’s pungent vanilla essence. As soon as you open this Donty-Tonty bag, you will be punched in the face with a vanilla scent – to many, this could be considered very pleasant. Chew each their own, but if you are one who might agree, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND grabbing a bag.

This is a nice big one pound bag of classic vanilla Charleston Chew candy bars. They are snack-sized bars, individually wrapped. The candy bars are fresh, soft, chewy, and every bit as delicious as you remember them being. I don’t see Charleston Chews as much anymore as I used to, and it’s nice to be able to get a big bag of them.

Well my sweet tooth made me get these on a whim when I saw chocolate, vanilla and taffy. Why not blindly order a whole pound of it, right? Well it’s not quiiiiite what I expected, and seems more like vanilla flavored marshmallow in chocolate than taffy, but dang is it good! I’m very glad I gave into my sweet tooth demands. Tastes very fresh and is extremely addictive.

Candies came in bulk packaging and was filled to the brim. I can’t wait to slowly eat them away they’re going to last a while. Each and everyone is in good condition, not melted, and not crushed. They are as fresh as can be. I’ve never had a Charleston Chew before, but found them to be very soft, with amazing chocolate and vanilla filling. I’m a fan now. Highly recommend trying!

I enjoy Charleston chew very much. The candy is chewy but not “stick to my teeth” chewy. Additionally I prefer chocolate and vanilla flavor over the standard fruity flavors that most taffies are.
This chewy, flavorful one bitter is wrapped in a yummy chocolate coating with a vanilla taffy inside. The flavor makes me salivate to a point where the nugget tastes almost juicy.
The taffy comes in a resealable packet and an expiration date of January 2025

Rebranded candy – fresh and tasty!
When I got this bag of “Donty Tonty” brand candy I was like, “What the hecky, Becky?”
Seems that this is a candy reseller. They repackage the candy into their own bags but the wrappers on the candy stay intact. These were vanilla Charleston Chews. Very fresh and chewy. Tasted great and you get a lot for the price.

First time trying this chocolate – first impressions is that it’s pretty sweet but tasty! I’ll probably take a while to finish this bag but it’s a good thing they expire in 2025 so I’ll have plenty of time. The packaging was pretty good.
