Delicious as ever. The kids wasted no time enjoying one and taking some to school to share. There was one unwrapped, but we all know how loosely dum-dums are wrapped and it’s great because of how easy it is to pull the wrappers off, so it’s not a surprise to see that one lost a wrapper while the bag was being filled by a machine. Not docking stars for that, since the pops are fresh and delicious.

The bag I received had an expiration date slightly more than a year away, but I guarantee these will all be eaten long before then! This comes with 1lbs worth of lollipops. They are mostly fruit flavors. They taste fresh and delicious. I think the lollipops seem a bit smaller than I expected but they are very tasty.

A 1 lb bag of dum dums came individually wrapped in a big bag. Dum dums are a classic candy that everybody loves, young and old. Great variety of flavors, including strawberry, root beer, and cotton candy. Price is a bit higher than the big box store per pound, but worth the convenience. I was putting together some goodie bags for my grandson’s PK class, and I was glad to have the dum dums on hand. I also like to carry a few in my purse for those sugar lows when I’m out running errands longer than expected.

I think Dum Dums may be the thing I remember most from my childhood doctor visits. Who doesn’t remember finishing their appointment and being given one of these lollipops on their way out the door. Funny, but things have not changed. Now, our four-year-old granddaughter is having the same experience. In fact, now, when we pretend to be caregiver to her stuffed animals, she finishes the play by giving them a pretend lollipop. It is something she looks forward to and makes Doctor visits, and especially getting vaccines, less traumatic. This bag has the flavors from my youth, including root beer, butterscotch and cherry, among others. They’re still one of our favorite sweet treats.
